A group of fifteen young German diplomats, accompanied by Karsten Geier, Minister Plenipotentiary of the German Embassy to the Order of Malta, was received this morning at the Order of Malta’s Magistral Villa by the Secretary General for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Stefano Ronca. Lively interest, curiosity and many questions animated the meeting and the presentation of the Order of Malta’s institutional characteristics and diplomatic and humanitarian activities in the world, with a focus on the situation in Ukraine. Taking advantage of a particularly clear and sunny day, the young diplomats visited the Villa and the church of Santa Maria in Aventino, a work by Giovanni Battista Piranesi.
