Order of Malta’s Monegasque Association donates a minibus for the disabled

The Order of Malta’s Monegasque Association has donated a new minibus to help disabled young people in the Principality of Monaco’s special needs educational centre under the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services.

Prince Albert II was present at the minibus delivery ceremony which took place on Tuesday, 7 November in the Place du Palais in Monaco.

The President of the Monegasque Association, Jean Kerwat, gave a brief speech and then handed the keys of the minibus to the authorities. The event was attended by the Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Christophe Robino, the Director of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services, Marie Thouvenin-Rapaire, as well as members of the Monegasque Association and the Council, accompanied by the chaplain, Mons. Patrick Keppel.

The event ended with the blessing of the minibus by Father César Penzo, chaplain of the Prince’s Palace.
