The Visitors Centre introduces the Sovereign Order of Malta, its humanitarian, medical and social activities. Situated in the Magistral Palace in Rome on Via Bocca di Leone, 73 the Visitors Centre is open to everyone and provides information on the Sovereign Order of Malta’s past and present.

Here it is possible to learn about its many humanitarian undertakings carried out in the five continents, the role of its diplomatic missions, and also the engaging history and features of an institution that is unique in the world.

The Magistral Palace, which is granted extra-territorial status by the Italian Republic, has been the Sovereign Order of Malta’s government seat since 1834. Situated in the heart of Rome, the Palace is the hub of the Sovereign Order of Malta’s worldwide activities, where its government bodies meet and from where its institutional and diplomatic affairs are run.
