Yesterday in Rome, in the Order of Malta’s St. Mary of the Aventine church, H.M.E.H. the Grand Master Fra’ Matthew Festing attended Holy Mass celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Pio Laghi, on the feast-day of the Order’s patron St. John the Baptist.

According to tradition, also in attendance at the solemn occasion were the Sovereign Council and the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Order of Malta, led by their doyen, the Ambassador of Honduras Alejandro Valladares Lanza. At the end of the celebration, the Grand Master received greetings from all those present.
