The Grand Master of the Order of Malta, Fra’ Andrew Bertie, was received this morning at Palazzo Montecitorio, seat of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, by the Speaker, Pier Ferdinando Casini. The cordial meeting was followed by a luncheon.

The Grand Master was accompanied by the Grand Chancellor, Jacques de Liedekerke, the Receiver of the Common Treasure, Gianluca Chiavari, the Secretary General for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Alessandro Quaroni and the Order’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, Giulio di Lorenzo Badia.
