The Grand Master Fra’ John Dunlap visited today the NATO Headquarters Allied Joint Forces Command in Naples, where he met with Admiral Suart B. Munsch, Commander of JFC and General Rodolfo Sganga, JFCP’s CoS.

The Grand Master was accompanied by the Grand Chancellor, Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, the Ambassador of the Order to Italy, Stefano Ronca, the Ambassador of the Order to Slovenia, Mariano Hugo Windisch-Graetz and the Ambassador of the Order to Cyprus and to The Gambia Domenico Giani.

Fra’ John Dunlap expressed appreciation for the activities of JFC Naples and for the opportunity of highlighting the Order’s projects. “I am very honored for having been received today by Admiral Stuart B. Munsch following our first meeting in 2023 in Rome at the Magistral Palace. The visit to the JFC Naples headquarters has been the opportunity to highlight the health, social and humanitarian projects that the Sovereign Order of Malta carries out all over the world, facilitated by its diplomatic network and its national associations. The Order of Malta is committed to the assistance to all those in need – according to fundamental principles of neutrality and impartiality – and to the protection of civilians and relief operators in situations of conflict.”

The Grand Master further added that: “Today, it has also been an opportunity for me to learn about the activities of JFC Naples in the field of civil defense and emergency humanitarian assistance.”
