The development of diplomatic relations between the Order of Malta and Andorra, which began last June, was the main theme of today’s meeting between the Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Imma Tor Faus.
The Grand Chancellor recalled the recent appointment of the Order’s first Ambassador to Andorra, who will soon present letters of credence.
The two parties will also work on a cooperation agreement concerning initiatives of joint interest in Africa. The Order of Malta is already studying some concrete proposals in this regard.
