Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, is interviewed on the role of faith-based institutions in conflicts in anticipation of the symposium Religions Together for Humanitarian Action.
The Order of Malta is organising the Symposium in the lead-up to the World Humanitarian Summit. Policy makers, religious leaders and academics will gather together at the UN Geneva on 27 May 2015 to tackle sensitive issues related to the WHS, including the role of religions in promoting reconciliation and resilience building.
